We hold a Baptist perspective (Believer's Baptism) and affirm that this is an ordinance that the Lord commanded. Following His Word is our joy and worship.

I cannot write a new essay here but I will share scripture that leads us to our position. If you would like further dicussion perhaps we can email or meet up. Email us from the website.

Scripture:
Belief and faith came before baptism (Acts 8.12)
Saved through faith not works (Eph. 2.8-9)
Paul believed the Lord Jesus before any baptism (Acts 9)
Believers received baptism after receiving the Holy Spirit (Acts 10.47 & Acts 19.5-6)

We do not believe salvation is a necessary element of receiving forgiveness of sin from God, experiencing justification, and the free gift of regeneration leading unto eternal life We affirm there are more weighty scriptural and theological considerations to be reckoned that prevent us from embracing pedobaptism and sacramentalism.
Once again this comment is not intended to be a grand treatment of the issue or a sturdy defense of our position but simply a reply. If you would like to continue the discussion let us take our conversation off the air.
